Note that there may be some inaccuracies: Wonderful woodblock by the great Japanese artist, Kaoru Kawano, 1916-1965. Very unusual subject for this artist - a nude girl arranging her hair, mostly in silhouette. Image size is 14 3/4" by 9" and total frame size is 21" by 17". Purchased framed by appears to be in perfect condition.
	Artist Bio:	Kaoru Kawano was a very popular artist for his distinctively styled depictions of figures, especially children. He uses the wood grain patterns to lender the textures and the mood to the works.
