The following information was taken from the original web listing of this artwork. Note that there may be some inaccuracies:
You are bidding on a Japanese woodblock print “Yomeimon Gate in Nikko”. I don't know the artist of this woodblock print. The print size is 11 1/2 inch x 9 1/4 inches. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. The chop stamp of the artist’s signature is at the lower left corner of the print. In the bottom border, the writing says “Yomeimon Gate in Nikko” both in English and Japanese. This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and ink bleeds through the back of print can be seen. Except a couple of minor wrinkles and stains in the upper left corner in the border, which does not affect the image of the print at all, this woodblock print is in excellent condition. |
