Restaurant Series

Artist: Hiroshige I
Format: Oban yoko-e: 9.5" x 14"

Subject: A night scene with a geisha lighting the way over a bridge for customers at a riverside restaurant. The Restaurant series is among Hiroshige's scarcest works.

Date: c. 1830's

Condition: Fine colors. Professionally re-margined at left. Slight vertical centrefold. Minor marks and flaws. Generally very good state of preservation.

Impression: Very good impression.
