The following information was taken from the original web listing of this artwork. Note that there may be some inaccuracies:
UP FOR AUCTION IS AN ESTATE SALE FIND OF A CONTEMPORARY WOODBLOCK DONE BY KAWANO KAORU. THIS APPEARS TO BE IN THE ORIGINAL FRAME. THE FRAME IS NOT IN GREAT SHAPE BUT THE PICTURE LOOKS TO BE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. I DID NOT WANT TO TAKE IT APART BECAUSE THE PRINT IS ENCASED IN THE FRAME. THE PICTURE OF THE BACK DOES NOT HAVE A DENT IN THE WOOD, IT IS JUST A REFLECTION CAUSED BY THE FLASH. IT MEASURES 14 1/2" X 8 3/4".
