The following information was taken from the original web listing of this artwork. Note that there may be some inaccuracies:

Description: HAKU MAKI (MAEJIMA TADAAKI) (Japanese, b. 1924): "Poem 72-81", woodblock and cementblock relief print, 1969, image: 6.6 by 4.6 inches. Signed in pencil and annotated with title and "174/201", printed in black and green on heavy, white Japan paper, 0.5 to 0.8 inch margins, published for the album Matsuri to Shu (Festive Wine), 1969. A beautiful, very clean, bright impression without any defects.

Note: Haku Maki studied printmaking under Onchi Koshiro and Hiratsuka. He experimented with wire brush effects on natural wood grain and then created a unique technique using plaster of paris and cement blocks in combination with woodblocks, thus achieving the deeply embossed effect demonstrated in this print.
