Note that there may be some inaccuracies: Tuesday, 7 June 2005 Japanese woodblock print by Kawano Kaoru, oversize (22 x 11 ½ plus large margins), pencil signed and numbered. This is one of Kawano’s rare self-printed oversize editions, titled “Dancing Figure (Eshima)”. It dates from the early 1960s. Excellent color, impression and condition. Don't confuse this with the oban size version; this one is much larger, and of significantly higher quality in terms of printing and image.
	Artist Bio:	Kaoru Kawano was a very popular artist for his distinctively styled depictions of figures, especially children. He uses the wood grain patterns to lender the textures and the mood to the works.
