"The Bird" 1974

Y. Sukegawa- Artist from the mid to late 20th century worked mostly in Tokyo. His images of wildlife and geometric landscapes are what he is most well known for.

The Bird- Abstract woodblock print of a bird in bolds colors using Sukegawa’s typical geometric design style.

This print is a limited edition, pencil signed and numbered print by Sukegawa. The small edition size is only 80 pieces total making this a rare print to find.

Signed- In pencil in Roman characters, “Y. Sukegawa” (see photo)
Image size- 9” x 12” (image only)
Titled- The Bird
Numbered- 76/80 (in pencil)
Condition- Excellent, no toning, tears, not mounted, full margins
