Subject: A family celebrating the Tanabata Festival around a huge porcelain Goldfish-bowl decorated with a seascape in the aizuri-e technique. A delightful composition.

Date: 1853

Condition: Fine colors. Slightly trimmed on left sheet. Japanese album backing paper. Minor marks and flaws. Generally fine state of preservation.

Impression: Fine impressions with gauffrage.
