Beautiful GEISHA woodblock print is actually a little darker in hue than the PIC shows due to the lighting used signed in ENGLISH (pencil) and in Japanese characters Numbered 108/300 and named DANCING FIGURE (Mai 0GI) this is from the early 1950s. LARGE print area is 15" x 22". Nice frame with NO glare glass measures 19" x 27".
	Artist Bio:	Kaoru Kawano was a very popular artist for his distinctively styled depictions of figures, especially children. He uses the wood grain patterns to lender the textures and the mood to the works.
