Japanese woodblock print by Kaoru Kawano of dancer. Kawano (1916-1965) was a noted Japanese woodblock artist. Size of the image is 15 x 9. Signed in pencil and sealed, lower right. A fine impression, ready for matting and framing. Margins. Please excuse quality of image. Any distortion is from a reflection and is not in actual print.

Artist Bio: Kaoru Kawano was a very popular artist for his distinctively styled depictions of figures, especially children. He uses the wood grain patterns to lender the textures and the mood to the works.
