This is a beautiful woodblock print by noted sosaku hanga printmaker Haku Maki. It depicts a persimmon against a striking black background. As is typical with Maki prints, the image is deeply embossed, in this case with the leaves of the persimmon. The print is in very nice condition, framed in a glass frame with black lacquered wood. All of the print is visible, front and back, as it is sandwiched between two layers of heavy glass (easily removeable should you choose to do that, but a beautiful effect as is). Measures about 7 3/4 x 7 3/4 plus large margins; pencil signed and numbered 91/153.
