Note that there may be some inaccuracies: This charming woodblock print by Kaoru Kawano is a profile of a red bird nuzzling a white bird. The background, with a suggestion of red branches, is a dark brown color. It is signed in pencil, "Kaoru Kawano, and has a chop mark in red, lower right. The woodblock measures 11 3/8" x 8 1/4, has full margins, in good condition. En verso is stamped "MADE IN JAPAN". The right vertical margin is deckle edged.
	Artist Bio:	Kaoru Kawano was a very popular artist for his distinctively styled depictions of figures, especially children. He uses the wood grain patterns to lender the textures and the mood to the works.
