Note that there may be some inaccuracies: This is a beautiful woodblock print by noted sosaku hanga printmaker Joichi Hoshi. It combines the best elements of his constellation series with the gracefulness of his tree prints. It is entitled "Tree of Stars". Pencil signed and numbered 67/200m dated 1970. Excellent color and impression. It measures about 5 x 4 1/4 plus full margins. Very nice condition; there is an exceptionally faint discoloration in the upper margin which parallels the line of the tree, so I imagine that it happened in printing; it is virtually unnoticeable (interestingly, the same situation exists on the second print I have of this image).
