Note that there may be some inaccuracies: 1960s Japanese Woodblock Print, KAWAHARA A vintage 1960s modernist sosaku hanga Japanese woodblock print. It depicts a flying crane amongst a background of abstract shapes. Pencil signed "H. Kawahara". There is one pass of blue and one pass of silver that have a linen texture, giving the image somewhat of a textile appearance when viewed up close. Numbered 7/30 in pencil. Sheet size is 19" wide by 14-1/4" high. Image size is 15" x 11". The image is excellent and there are no tears, foxing, stains, or fading. There is just a light crease in one corner, about 1/4" .
