Note that there may be some inaccuracies: A WONDERFUL MODERN JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT BY KAWANO KAORU (1916-1965). IT IS A LIVELY PRINT OF A CHILD WITH HAIR FLOWING IN THE WIND. THE PRINT HAS THE ARTISTS' SEAL ON THE FACE AND TWO OTHER ROUND SEALS ON THE REVERSE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER. THE WOODCUT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH VIVID COLORS AND HAS NOT BEEN TRIMMED. THE ONLY FLAWS ARE TAPE MARKS ON THE REVERSE UPPER EDGE CENTER AND CORNERS WHICH DO NOT AFFECT THE PRINT. THIS WOODBLOCK COMES UNMATTED, UNFRAMED AND MEASURES 11" X 16 1/2".
	Artist Bio:	Kaoru Kawano was a very popular artist for his distinctively styled depictions of figures, especially children. He uses the wood grain patterns to lender the textures and the mood to the works.
