Among Chikanobu's finest works, this ravishingly beautiful design of a Heian Court lady on a pleasure boat ranks as a masterpiece. Date: c.1880's Condition: Fine colors. Album crease marks at edges. Minor offsetting, marks and flaws. Japanese album backing paper. Generally very good state of preservation. Impression: Very fine with gauffrage.
