Date: c.1951 from the series 30 Portraits of Contemporary Actors in Kabuki Plays, published by Watanabe with 6 mm Seal, signed Shunsen-ga with red leaf seal.
Size:Oban tate-e: 10.5" x 15.75" overall, untrimmed, unbacked.
Condition: Fine. Full margins. Binding holes in the left margin otherwise perfect.
Impression: Fine. Gauffrage to figure.
Color: Fine. Excellent strong colors with bleedthrough.
Ichikawa Ennosuke as Sanbaso in Black Kimono decorated with cranes and turtles.
