Japanese woodblock print- Haku Maki

A striking woodblock print by Haku Maki, born 1924. Grad. 1945 Ibaraki Normal School. Member Nihon Hanga Kyokai from 1958 and Modern Art Society. Participated in first and second Tokyo International biennales in 1957 and 1960, Pistoia and other international exhibitions.

This print is from his famous design: persimmon. Limited edition 85/110. Signed and title in Kanji. Total size 12.5" x 18.5". Light tone around the edges. Surface has some sratches and at one point, previous owner tried to clean it and left some residues. It could be cleaned fairly easy.
