Signature: "Tamami Shima" in pencil on the lower margin (difficult to see).
Dated: 1961.

There appears to be a first edition of 100 and then a later open edition.

This print was later reissued by Takagi Shiro in 1970 after Shima Tamami moved to the USA.

1961 TAMAMI SHIMA WOODBLOCK PRINT Pencil Signed

Size:print is 10 1/2 " By 22 frame is 19 1/2 X 22"

Condition: Very Good

You are bidding on a Japanese woodblock print made By Tamami Shima in 1961.She was born in Hirosaki Japan in 1937.

Shima's designs are reknown for their use of texture, and especially for her striking use of various woodgrain patterns within a single image.

There are no rips or tears. There is a light 2 inches crease on the right side and a small one on the left side. The print is pencil signed and dated.
