The following information was taken from the original web listing of this artwork. Note that there may be some inaccuracies:

This is a genuine period printed woodblock print by KUNICHIKA (1835-1900) from his highly respected series "Genji gojuyojo" (Fifty-four modern feelings [matched with chapters of Genji]), 1884. In each print, a cartouche in the form of an open book is filled with the Genji mon (crest) of the parallel chapter and poems relating to the subject. In this print, Genji stands on a verandah with a woman crouching, holding his sword. Behind him three court ladies ride horses.
The impression, color and condition are all exemplary. This print is virtually in perfect condition. It measures 9 7/8 x 14 3/4 inches. An outstanding print.
