Note that there may be some inaccuracies: OFFERED IS THIS CHARMING KAORU (1916-1965) WOODBLOCK OF A YOUNG GIRL IN HARMONY WITH THREE SMALL BIRDS. THE AGE LOOKS TO BE 1950'S OR EARLY 60'S. THE SIZE IS 10 1/16" X 14 7/8". THE FRAME MEASURES 16" X 26". THE SIGNATURE IS PENCILED ON THE LOWER RIGHT. THE WOODBLOCK IS MOUNTED ON BOARD WHICH IS MOUNTED ON ANOTHER CLOTH LINED BOARD. THE CONDITION IS GOOD WITH ONLY A FEW MINOR SCUFFS.
	Artist Bio:	Kaoru Kawano was a very popular artist for his distinctively styled depictions of figures, especially children. He uses the wood grain patterns to lender the textures and the mood to the works.
