Note that there may be some inaccuracies: This is one of Kaoru Kawano's (1916-1965) strongest compositions. It shows a young mother with a baby wrapped in her robe. The striking creamy white of the mother's face directs the design with elegant simplicity. The print is signed in pencil in the image below the figure and the artists stamp is to the right of the figure. The print measures 14 7/8" x 10".
	Artist Bio:	Kaoru Kawano was a very popular artist for his distinctively styled depictions of figures, especially children. He uses the wood grain patterns to lender the textures and the mood to the works.
