This is a very rare and unusual genuine original aiban size Japanese shin hanga woodblock print by Tsuchiya Rakusan (1886-?). The print is signed and dedicated to someone in sumi ink in kanji and in English. the print is sealed in the image. The subject matters appears to be the Golden Pavillion in the mist. There is extensive use of gold mica in this image. The print is in very good condition. Some very minor browning to the paper where it has reacted with the pigment. No foxing or toning, folds or creases. The print is not trimmed or setdown. Image size is 8"x 11", paper size is 9" x 12.5".
