Kiyohara HITOSHI (1896-1956). Three young girls on "Children's Day"; oban yoko-e (9½" x 14¼"). Signed "Hitoshi" with Hitoshi seal LR. Published by Kato Junji in late 1940s (Publisher's seal in left margin). Condition: Very good; full borders; small pinholes in each upper corner of border; original ownwer's name written on back.
B. Ibaraki prefecture. Art name Sei used for paintings. Studied with Matsumoto Fuko from 1915; then with Katayama Nanpu. Exhibited Japanese-style painting at Inten.
