Note that there may be some inaccuracies: Kaoru Kawano Japanese Woodblock Print Woodblock print by Japanese artist KAORU KAWANO (1916-1965). Signed in pencil in the lower right. The woodblock is of a young girl. The print is not glued on board but a free sheet, in very good condition. The paper is cream color paper. Sheet size is 11" x 16-1/2" . The image is 10" x 15" .There is no foxing, no tears, no stains.
	Artist Bio:	Kaoru Kawano was a very popular artist for his distinctively styled depictions of figures, especially children. He uses the wood grain patterns to lender the textures and the mood to the works.
