Urushibara, Mokuchu- horse 1- 1.jpg is:
This is a very rare unique unsigned proof done by the talented artist Yoshijiro Urushibara. This is one of four designs of the horse done in the Kano style(ink painting). You can see the thick layers of ink one on top of the other. Each wood block was carved for each color. It would take many hours to produce just one block. This is an original print. You wont see any offset litho dots in this one. The print comes to you in its original matte black wood frame sized 14.25 by 18.25 inches. It is matted in a 2 inch wide mat.
