Pillar Print: Two Courtesans

Artist: Eizan
Format: Hashira-e: 24.25" x 4"

Subject: The close-up portraits of two ladies of the green-houses; one reading a love-letter she has recived to the other who listens with her head resting in her cupped hands.

Date: c. 1815

Condition: Rather faded. A little trimmed. Wear, thinned spots, edge damages and overall toning. Horizontal fold mark and other creases. Small damages. Poor state of preservation.

Impression: Good impression.
