Note that there may be some inaccuracies: OFFERED IN THIS UNRESERVED AUCTION, IS ONE OF SIX, KIYOSHI SAITO WOODBLOCK PRINTS, ALL SIGNED BY THE ARTIST, WITH MATCHING FRAMES, RECENTLY PURCHASED FROM A LOCAL ESTATE. EACH WOODBLOCK WAS FRAMED AND MATTED IN THE 1950'S AND,IS BEING SOLD WITH THE MID 20th CENTURY FRAME. I HAVE REMOVED EACH WOODBLOCK FROM THE FRAME, IN ORDER TO PHOTOGRAPH AND, CORRECTLY DESCRIBE. THIS WOODBLOCK, MEASURES APPROX. 15 1/8" BY 10 3/16" WITH A PAPER SIZE OF 17 3/16" BY 11 7/16". THE FRAME MEASUREMENT IS 15 1/4" BY 20 1/8". THE ARTIST'S SIGNATURE IS WRITTEN IN SCRIPT IN WHITE INK, LOWER LEFT, ALONG WITH THE STYLIZED RED BLOCK LOGO OF THE ARTIST TYPICALLY FOUND ON SAITO'S WOODBLOCK PRINTS. THE IMAGE HAS SHARP, CRISP DETAIL WITH BOLD COLORS, HAS NOT BEEN "LAID DOWN" AND, IS FREE OF TEARS OR CREASES, ON THE REVERSE SIDE ALONG THE TOP EDGE, THE PAPER HAS RESIDUE FROM BEING ATTACHED TO THE MATTING WITH TAPE. THIS AREA MEASURES APPROX. 3/8" IN FROM THE EDGE OF THE PAPER AND IN NO WAY EFFECTS THE IMAGE QUALITY
