Unframed Japanese woodblock print by Kunisada and dating from the Meiji Era. The figural scene is from the Tale of Genji and probably from a larger suite of prints. The print is attached at the sides to a similar type of paper which might indiacte that it was intended to be or was part of an album of prints. Strong, fresh colors, gauffrage background, good bleed. Good condition, some light foxing in the fan shaped area. 14 x 9 1/2in.
