Artist: Hiroshige I
Format: Oban yoko-e: 10" x 14.75" overall

Subject: An early morning view of the entrance to a temple swathed in the dawn mists. In the foreground worshippers are bathing in the sacred pool round a stone lantern. One of Hiroshige's best mist scenes. An unidentified Japanese collector's seal bottom right corner.

Date: c. 1840

Condition: Very good colors. A vertical crease mark and other minor crease marks. Full size with large margins. Generally very good state of preservation.

Impression: Very good impression.
