Subject: From an extremely rare Omi Hakkei series published a year before his death, this scene of rain on the ancient Pine tree at Karasaki ranks as one of Hiroshige's great rain masterpieces. Very rare.

Publisher: Uoei Eikichi

Date: 1857

Condition: Very good colors. Full size with margins. Edge and corner restorations. Soiling and offsetting in margins. Other stains (light). A crease top left. Generally fair state of preservation.

Impression: Fine impression.
