Subject: A lady with a pipe converses with a bijin with a stick. In the background the village at Ishibe under a deep mantle of winter snow.

Publisher: Maruya Kyushiro

Date: 1854

Condition: Fine colors. Full size. Laid down on Japanese paper. Minor soils, stains, marks and flaws. Generally good state of preservation.

Impression: Very fine impression of the first edition with strong woodgrain visible in the winter sky.
