Subject: In the foreground a woman wearing a head- dress with Genji mon decoration, stoops to bang out her pipe. In the background travellers being ferried across the river.

Publisher: Maruya Kyushiro

Date: 1854

Condition: Fine colors. Full size with margins. A wormhole to left of title cartouche. Japanese album backing paper with a light stain on verso. Minor marks and flaws. Generally good state of preservation.

Impression: Fine impression with mica and strong woodgrain in the background.
