The following information was taken from the original web listing of this artwork. Note that there may be some inaccuracies:

Japanese woodblock print by Utagawa Kunisada II (1823-1880). From his Genji series, #34 – Wakananojo. The prince and his posse out for a walk in the snow. Interesting effect of white, black and grey snowflakes. The guy crouching on the R has a totally useless job – the prince is a lover, not a fighter. Keep that snow off, boys! Light backing, otherwise fine, totally clean. Not a stain or blemish anywhere. Mica in the black bokashi up top. Published by Tsutaya Kichizo in 1857. 14” X 9 3/4”.
