Subject: In an European setting with 'western' clouds in the sky, the opening of a great iron bridge, with foreigners (gaijin) viewing the new wonder of the age.

Date: c. 1880's

Condition: Fine colors. A little trimmed. Vertical foldmarks. A tear to left of bridge on left sheet. Some offsetting. Slight soils, marks and flaws. Fair state of preservation.

Impression: Moderately good impressions with gauffrage.
