The Dying Shop by Sanzo Wada. Original Japanese woodblock print dated March Showa 31 (1956) in left margin. Print is in very good condition. Light washi stain as shown in scan. 14.0 x 16.9 inches. Strong texture and ink bleedthrough on thick washi. Print is hand numbered 59 under Kyoto Hanga-in seal in left margin. Original tissue with English and Japanese information concerning this scene still tipped to verso top margin. Kyoto Hanga watermark in bottom margin.
