Haku Maki japanese woodblock print two

this auction is for a beautiful japanese woodblock print by Haku Maki. this print is of the plywood and cement designs that he did starting in the late 1960s. the paper was placed wet upon a carved surface and pressed and pressed until the paper molded into the print you see. the color was added later. two things about the color: one, the top sorta yellow color is really has more green in it than the photo shows. the lower circle in photo 5 actually has white pigment in it. hard to see, because of the white paper it is printed on. the print is in near mint condition. the only detraction is a light crease as seen to the right in photo 4. the print is 8 1/2" by 19 1/8" on thick paper that is 9 3/4" by 21 3/4". quite a large print. as you can see, it's edition number is 32/153 and was printed in 1971. photo 6 shows how clean the back of this print is. in the lower right on the back in pencil is a number 100123, probably a gallery number at one time. here is a great print that will go well in any environment and shows off beautifully Maki's cement work.
